Indigo Solution, its founder Stuart Alter, and the partners of Indigo Solution have had extensive and diverse experience developing business intelligence applications, data warehouses, transactional applications, quality assurance programs, and web sites. Indigo specializes in the business intelligence arena with emphasis on the effective generation, publication, and distribution of influential information and insightful knowledge.

Indigo has performed project management, technical development, and assessment studies for business intelligence implementation, ISO 9000 software quality assurance methodology, web sites, and data warehouse applications.

Highlights of projects:

• The creation of the first Philadelphia Eagles web site in 1995 which included the early adoption of database-enabled HTML to dynamically display team statistics. This allowed the Eagles to be the first NFL team to have near-dynamic access to its statistics during and after their games.
• The design and generation of a data warehouse for drugemporium.com. This allowed the organization to understand and predict online demand and profitability, as well as to assess the efficacy of its online marketing campaigns.
• The production of a data warehouse for VerticalNet.com. This allowed the organization to observe trends and behaviors of the emerging online Business to Business community.
• The design and implementation of a business intelligence application at the Philadelphia Prison System. This allowed the Prison to better understand its inmates, and therefore be able to assess and initiate programs to better control the population. This also resulted in a drastic reduction in the generation and distribution of printed reports.
